The Bronze Award is the highest honor that a Junior Girl Scout (aged 9 - 11) can earn. Scouts must spend a minimum of twenty hours to earn the award. One of the goals of earning the award is that the project makes a lasting change. Our Troop decided to reduce the suffering of pets at our local shelter, but our project grew much larger than we imagined. Our Project Leader made a documentary for us about the project.
